Through partnerships with land trusts, state and federal agencies, and willing landowners, The Conservation Fund has protected more than 1.1 million acres of prime wildlife habitat, recreational areas and historic lands in the Southwest region since 1985.

Arizona

More than 940,000 acres of Arizona’s working landscapes and majestic open spaces – including significant lands surrounding the Grand Canyon – have been permanently preserved through the Fund’s partnerships.  Read more>

Whether sheltering vulnerable wildlife habitat in the hardwood forests of Big Thicket National Preserve or revitalizing local economies and popular recreation areas, the Fund and its partners are dedicated to protecting Texas’ natural, cultural and historic resources.
