We are seeking an experienced technician to provide desktop support to TCF headquarters and remote locations.
The Help Desk Technician will:
The qualified candidate will have an associate’s degree or a minimum of 2 years experience in a related field. A+ Certification desired but not required. Must have excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, specifically Dell desktop and laptop computers. Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, extensive equipment support with printers, scanners and other similar devices and working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems and standards required. Basic understanding of Windows server (2003/2008) networking environment and the ability to read/understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides a must. Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products a must.
Must have effective interpersonal and team building skills, strong written oral and written communication and be self motivated. A strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving abilities needed. The ability to prioritize, work in a team environment and provide strong customer service a must. This position requires sitting for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools and handle other computer components. Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects is essential.

We are seeking a Communication/Marketing Intern at our Freshwater Institute located in Shepherdstown, WV. This is a summer internship that continues during the school semester and the individual should be able to work 10-15 hours per week during the semester.
Will work with the Program Director and TCF Marketing and Communications team to enhance and expand effective communications, public relations and marketing initiatives through web, social and conventional earned media pathways. Assists staff with preparation of materials for annual and management reports, meetings and workshops and client presentations. Receives guests and visitors and provides follow-up.
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
Qualified candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications with demonstrated knowledge of appropriate social media activity, forums, blogs, animation, video or website in a personal portfolio. Must have excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills; an interest in non-profit business models, land and water conservation, and technical
writing skills are helpful.

The Conservation Fund seeks an experienced and dynamic fundraiser to create and implement strategies for a regional major gifts program. The duties will include but are not limited to cultivating donors, supporting multiple fundraising initiatives, meeting regularly with colleagues across the country and executing fundraising strategies. Will also build consensus and align fundraising initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of large portfolio of donors, setting and meeting financial fundraising goals for an existing portfolio and assist the VP of Development and the President with select donor relationships.
Must have 3-5 years experience working with donors giving $10,000 or more, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all types of people. Must be able to work long hours and/or weekends from time-to-time. Some overnight travel is required. A degree in a related field is preferred.
